A journey into the past - For the 24th time, the historic market and Castle Mauterndorf will be transformed into a wonderful medieval hustle and bustle on July 5 & 6, 2025. A varied program is offered for young and old. The people of Mauterndorf turn back the clock and take medieval fans and all those who want to become one on a journey through time to medieval concerts and performances, campsites and craft markets.
The big parade takes place on Saturday and Sunday at 2.00 pm.

Market stalls
At our medieval festival you can find all kinds of bric-a-brac and useful items from the many traveling traders. The Mauterndorf Medieval Festival is well-known and popular among market traders and we are delighted when the film-like backdrop of our village blends with the many different craftsmen and traders to create an even more colorful and authentic picture of our historic market town.
We are particularly proud of this fact and we are always happy to recognize familiar
faces in the rows of stalls who bring their contribution to the festival.
