Easter market at Mauterndorf Castle

Springtime Easter market on March 21 and 22 as well as 28 and 29, 2026 at Mauterndorf Castle!

Treat yourself to a blossoming, spring-like atmosphere and visit this year's Easter market in the interior of Mauterndorf Castle on March 21 and 22 as well as March 28 and 29, 2026, in each case from 11.00 am to 5.00 pm.

Find inspiration for magical gift ideas from the wide range of arts and crafts on offer from the numerous exhibitors at the Easter market. There is also a colorful program for the young guests.

On both weekends, in addition to Easter handicrafts, painted Easter eggs and Easter arrangements, culinary specialties from the Lungau will also be offered for your personal "Christmas basket".

In between, you will have the opportunity to enjoy refreshments and culinary delights in the castle tavern! From 13:00 to 16:00, you can enjoy live music from a wide variety of bands every day.

The Easter bunny workshop is open for our young guests from 1.00 pm to 4.00 pm - here you can make colorful Easter presents and decorate your own "palm bushes".

TIP: On Palm Saturday and Palm Sunday, we invite children to accompany the Easter Bunny on a walk at 1.00 and 3.00 pm. Meeting point: castle courtyard.

On all days of the Easter market there is the opportunity to explore the medieval fortified tower of Mauterndorf Castle during an evening tower tour at 4.00 pm (adults €12,-, children €9,-). Meeting point: ticket office/toll booth.
